ABA Success believes that collaboration with other service providers, as well as collaborating with school staff, increases the child’s overall performance and growth. These providers include, but are not limited to:
- Speech therapists
- Occupational therapists
- School staff
- And more
Along with data-driven treatment plan(s), the team is more able to ensure that everyone is on the same page and effectively track the growth and overall performance of the child. This does increase the performance and the effect of the services on the child. This enables a more comprehensive support system and a more effective way to set and reach goals.
Using an interdisciplinary collaboration has proven to increase the effectiveness of a more complete treatment model and the positive outcomes for each individual. These include, but are not limited to, antecedent modifications and consequence strategies to produce practical and significant changes in behavior. This is done by using environmental variables to reduce problem behaviors and to facilitate increased learning for alternative behaviors using preferred items/activities.
